Woodworking Machinery

I met Emmanuel at MissionsFest 2011 in Vancouver, BC and was really touched by his story. He was a survivor of the genocide in Rwanda. He lost most of his family there and now has a passion to help the orphans and widows. He is giving them hope by teaching them a trade so they can start their own businesses. He is raising money for a wood lathe right now and hopefully we can raise the money to buy this for the people there.

We're raising machinery for a woodworking project for orphans survivors from the Genocide who didn't have means to attend school without fees for tuition and uniforms. These machines will allow them to learn skills for providing for themselves.

Since 1996, ERM has been a voice for a people struggling to gain freedom and reconciliation from the 1994 Rwanda genocide. The genocide physically eradicated hundreds of thousands Rwandans but it did not destroy their living spirit of hope, faith and determination.
